Sessions and pricing, in full
Four ways to be photographed, all at your place or somewhere your family actually goes.
Still & Golden sessions are grouped by how much time you want together. They're all unposed and unhurried, all include the whole family — toddlers, grandparents, the dog — and none of them ask anything of you except to be in them. Below is each one in full: what it costs, what you get, and who it tends to suit.
Session prices change from 1 October 2026. Anything booked before then keeps today's pricing — even if your session is months away. If you've been thinking about it, now is a genuinely good time.
Glimpse — the quick refresh
A short, focused sitting for when you don't need the whole production — updated family photos, a milestone worth marking, or simply proof that you were all in the same place at the same time. Thirty minutes, in your home or at a spot you love, and ten edited images that actually look like your family.
- 30 minutes — in-home or on-location
- 10 edited images, delivered through a private online gallery
- Upgrade to the full gallery afterwards for +$75
- Everyone welcome — no per-person charge, ever
Glimpse is also how a lot of families first try me — low risk, no commitment, and if you love the photos the rest of the gallery is one upgrade away.
Golden — the signature sitting
An hour together, and the session most families choose. Long enough that everyone stops performing — usually around minute twenty — and short enough that nobody melts down. Newborn sittings, maternity, cake smash and splash, or the family as it is right now.
- 60 minutes — in-home or on-location
- 20 edited images, delivered through a private online gallery
- Upgrade to the full gallery afterwards for +$50
- Everyone welcome — no per-person charge, ever
If it's been years since the last proper family photo, this is usually the one.
Gathered — room to move
The longest session, for anything that shouldn't watch the clock. It's the signature newborn sitting — a days-old baby keeps their own schedule, and ninety minutes means nobody hurries a feed or a settle — and equally the session for extended family, milestones and multiple set-ups.
- 90 minutes — in-home or on-location
- 30+ edited images, delivered through a private online gallery
- Full gallery included — no restrictions, no upgrade decision
- Everyone welcome — grandparents, cousins, the lot
For newborns I bring a small flash with an umbrella and a bean bag for the close-up detail shots — tiny fingers, flaky skin, all of it — but no themed props or backdrops.
Bloom — bump to baby
Two sittings that follow your family from bump to baby — a maternity or family session while you wait, and a newborn session once they arrive. Booked together at a better rate than two separate Gathered sessions, with the full gallery included both times.
- Two 90-minute sessions — maternity/family now, newborn later
- Full gallery included at both sittings
- Newborn session any time within the first 4 weeks after birth — the date moves with your baby
- In-home for both, or outdoors for the maternity sitting if you'd rather
Most families book Bloom in the second or third trimester; we pencil in dates around your due date and confirm once your baby arrives.
Always included
- In-home or on-location. There's no studio, ever — your home is the set, and the photos are yours in a way a backdrop never is.
- Everyone in the frame. No per-person charges. Whoever turns up is in it.
- Nothing required of you. No tidying, no outfit rules, no rehearsing. I need two or three corners and a window.
- Delivered within two weeks. A private online gallery, ready to download, print and share.
- Travel included across Frankston, Chelsea, Seaford, Langwarrin, Mt Eliza, Cranbourne and most of south-east Melbourne.
Not sure which one fits?
A rough guide: thirty minutes if you want a quick refresh, sixty for the standard family or newborn sitting, ninety when the session shouldn't be rushed — newborns, extended family, multiple set-ups — and Bloom if you're expecting and want both chapters. If you're still torn, say so in the enquiry form and I'll help you choose. There's no wrong answer; they all end with photos of your family as it actually is.
Common questions
When should I book my newborn session?
Ideally while you're still pregnant — most families book in their second or third trimester to secure a spot. The session itself happens any time within the first 4 weeks after birth, and I keep the exact date flexible around your baby's actual arrival.
Does my house need to be tidy or "photo-ready"?
Not at all. I work with the natural light from your windows and usually only need two or three spots — a bed, a couch, the nursery. The rest of the house can look exactly like a house with kids in it.
What should we wear?
Soft, simple and comfortable works best — think warm neutrals and gentle tones rather than big logos or bright fluoro. Once you book, I'll send through a short guide with easy outfit ideas for the whole family.
How does the full-gallery upgrade work?
After your session you'll receive your included images, and you can then unlock the rest of the edited gallery — $75 on Glimpse, $50 on Golden. Gathered and Bloom already include the full gallery, so there's nothing extra to decide.
How long until we receive our photos?
Your edited gallery is delivered within 2 weeks of your session, through a private online gallery you can download and share with family.
