Sunset beach minis, golden hour on the bay

Forty-five minutes on the sand as the sun goes down, the full gallery included. $295.

Low sun, cool sand, the water turning gold behind you. The kids chase the shoreline, you walk slow, and the wind does what it likes with everyone's hair — the loose, easy kind of photos that only happen at the end of the day.

There's no posing on a rock and saying cheese. I'll give you a few gentle prompts and then mostly let the beach do the work: running, digging, piggybacks, a cuddle when someone gets cold. It's one family per evening, so nobody is waiting on the next booking and nothing is rushed.

What's included

• 45 minutes at the beach, timed around sunset.
• Your choice of beach — Frankston, Seaford or Carrum.
• The full gallery — every edited image from your session, back within two weeks in a private online gallery.
• Pay in full, or in two halves a week apart when you book at least nine days ahead.

Dates and timing

Sunset beach minis run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October and November (not Sunday 8 November — that's the Christmas minis). There's one family per evening, so once a date is booked it's gone.

Sunset moves later through spring, so there's no time to choose when you book — you pick the evening, and I'll confirm your exact start time with you close to the day.

What to bring

• A layer for everyone. The bay gets breezy once the sun drops.
• A towel and a change for the kids. Someone always ends up in the water.

Valued at $400 — a Glimpse session ($250) with its full gallery ($150).
